Coal specification

SUEK AG exports coal of diverse quality which is mined by more than 10 production units. However, all coal we trade in is of high volatile having the volatile content of more than 29%.  Although there are several standard specifications for each delivery direction, we are able to arrange special blends in order to meet the characteristics our customer may require.

Baltic blends

Far East blends

There are four standard specifications exportable to the Pacific region. One of them is Kirova type which is semi-soft coking coal consumed by metallurgical companies in Japan and Korea. The next one is Tugnuisky coal being the only type of the Russian steam coal with high volatile and low nitrogen content. Further, there are two specifications of usual Kuzbas steam coal – one with higher and another with lower calorific value.
